IALP aspires to advance knowledge in human communication disorders worldwide.



To improve the quality of life of individuals with disorders of voice, speech, language, swallowing and hearing, the IALP:

  • facilitates international cooperation and collaboration about science,  education and practice;
  • creates, shares and distributes information; and
  • provides a platform for international networking
