Committee VISION

IALP Voice Committee aspires to advance knowledge in voice disorders worldwide. 

 

Committee MISSION

To improve the quality of life of individuals with voice disorders, the IALP Voice Committee:

- facilitates international cooperation and collaboration about science, education and practice;

- creates, shares and distributes information; and

- provides a platform for international networking.

 

Committee INITIATIVES

- Promote and expand the World Voice Day Activities

 - Promote interdisciplinarity on the field of voice

 - Improve the situation of Outcome Measures within the voice field

 - Organize Special symposia.

 

Previous achievements

- Special section of papers in Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica 2009; 61(1) from The Voice Committee symposium on the topic “Outcome measures in voice” organized during the IALP World Congress in Copenhagen in 2007.

Organization of a special Voice Committee symposium during the IALP World Congress in Torino, Italy in 2013.

- Improve public knowledge on the importance of voice and increase public alertness to voice problems to allow early detection of laryngeal pathologies
